What I received for Christmas 2016

 

I wanted to share with you what I received for Christmas this year - with no intention to brag / show off. I like seeing what people receive and thought I might give it a go this year.

I had no idea what I would like to receive this Christmas because just after my trip to New York with my sister I had to get straight into work mode and in a blink of an eye it was already December and with December Christmas was fast approaching. You see my dilemma.  So I put a little list together of a few items I would like to receive and gave it to my family... I didn't expect to receive much of these items, regardless I am so soooo grateful to my family and friends who have given me these gifts!

1. GIFTCARDS- Definitely a good idea come Boxing Day!!

 

2. LUSH BATH BOMBS ( Candy Mountain & Granny takes a Dip ) - they smell amazing!

 

3. TANYA BAKES BOOK - I've wanted this book since Tanya mentioned she had one coming out, cannot wait to create those recipes

 

4. 'You're my Cup of Tea'  FROM KMART- super cute! (funny that I wanted to get myself this when I saw it in the store whilst I was hunting for other Christmas presents)

5. 2017 'TYPO' CALENDAR -  you get to save a % off on Typo's items each new month - yes please!

6. LITTLE MIX CONCERT TICKETS!!! I am beyond thankful that my sister and I get to go see Little Mix - she knows me too well :)

7. MECCA - a gift card  that I can buy whatever I want without touching my bank account, oh and lotion

What's on my Christmas Wishlist

Christmas is almost here and I can taste it. Well come to think of it, not just yet but I surely can see it! People crowding the shopping centres trying to find the special gifts for their daughters, uncles, brothers, father-in-laws, the cousins-dads-brothers-sisters aunty who lives 2 blocks away. The hot humid weather, tinsel that is almost as tall as you and ornaments that brighten your starry night. I didn't think much about what I wanted for Christmas but once it hit December, I was on a mission to go window shopping and leaving hints every now and then on my whiteboard to ensure they make their to me (pretty please).

Although it is almost Christmas and all I can see is people stressing over what to buy or how much they should spend. But to me it's the season to give and to be thankful. To cherish my loving irreplaceable family, my beautiful friends, the place I call home that shelters me from wind/rain or shine, the nature that surrounds me each and every day, the ability to move, think, feel and share with all.

Christmas 2013

Christmas is a time to celebrate with the loved ones. Also the time to splurge on scrumptious food and gain a food baby. Don't worry there is always a New Year approaching and that's why we make New Years resolutions...

Brisbane's 3 stories high TOPSHOP

It's better late than never! The time has finally arrived, Brisbane has been gifted with a TOPSHOP on the corner of Albert & Elizabeth Street, where Borders once stood. It opened on the 5th December (140 Albert Street to be exact).

Goodbye savings, hello brand new outfits!

I am so glad they opened a TOPSHOP in Brisbane, a 3 story to be exact! No more online shopping for us Brisbane girls and guys or even contemplating whether or not you ordered the correct size.  Topshop Brisbane will also be offering a free personal shopping service. When you enter a Topshop it feels like you're in a whole another world, with awe and amazement - just like child opening their first Christmas present, or an adult test driving their brand new car.
