Giving Heart

One afternoon I was laying by the beach front when I felt that I needed to spend time and refocus where my mind was taking me. So I opened up a few podcasts and I found two that had been helpful, it was talking about giving, not just your money but giving to others, what your mind focuses on, give your time to other people, to be selfless. In that releases a positive attitude to anything you put your mind to, it keeps you humble, gives you that great feeling that you have accomplished something for someone else.

Instead of running around with different thoughts in my head, I stopped and listened that this message is for me. God works in His timing and when you take the time to zone in on Him everything will appear more clearly and in His favour. God listens to your woes and your prayers but He works all good things to those who love Him.

"One time Jesus was with His disciples in a boat out on the water when they encountered a great storm. The disciples were very afraid, but Jesus on the other hand, was fast asleep. When the disciples woke Him to see if He could help them, Jesus got up and simply spoke to the storm, “Peace! Be still” and the seas were calm again.

When difficult times come, you don’t have to be overwhelmed by the waves of worry or fear. Just as Jesus stood up and spoke to the storm, you have power in your words, too. The Bible says that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in every believer. He’s given you His authority to declare peace over your home, over your mind, and over your family. Remember, no matter what storms may come against you, the Greater One lives on the inside of you! Speak to your storms and walk in peace all the days of your life!"

I hope that whatever you are going through this week or the following few weeks I pray that you will have the mindset of 'what can I do for others' instead of focusing on your needs and your troubles. God sees your trials and He will pull your through it because He loves you and He gave his one and only son to the cross to die for you and your sins.

Love,
Kathy

I am All He says I am

Hello everyone,

It's Sunday night here in Australia and what better way to finish the weekend with a few thoughts that I'd love to share with you! So grab a cuppa and start reading :) It will be short and sweet.

Basically this applies to all of you out there not just the ladies, who it was mostly directed to in the service I heard...

You are ALL that God says you are; beautiful in His eyes, born in His image, called, chosen, desired, fully accepted, fully forgiven, fully loved, gifted, worthy and HIS.
The list can go on and on, but the point of this reminder is that you have to accept it, it's the truth and you walk in it!

You are called to GO!
You are heard to SPEAK!
You are gifted to SERVE!
You are made in His image so REFLECT!

Any word that you use to describe God's character should also describe your character. Don't forget that. Let this reminder be an affirmation for your beautiful God-given heart.

You are ALL He says you are.

Told you it was short and sweet, have a wonderful week ahead!

LOVE.

These past few days have been life changing (ever since knowing the Lord) - and it's all Thanks to God our father and saviour!

He has done incredible things throughout my life and I am always catching my breath to realize how much.. He loves us. Oh how much he loves you and I. It's like a weight is lifted off to know your identity through Christ, your purpose to know why and what your created to do. How come things happen like this or that and why good and bad happen.

Being like a bird to soar far and wide, to feel the wind beneath your wings, to see all what He has created, to know you are loved beyond measure - fearfully and beautifully made.
To feel the pressure taken off you when you know that in life somethings aren't up to you, they are made in his plans, that everything has a meaning and purpose for your life - good and bad.

It's freeing to know you are not alone, you have someone who has your best interests at heart, you are a son or a daughter, you have someone to turn to when things get mixed up.

Have a Berrrrrry Day!

If you have nothing to do on a Monday, why not go strawberry picking!!
Although it is the second day of it officially being Winter, the sun was beaming bright and feeling like a lovely summer's day. So my sister and I decided to take a drive to a strawberry field to pick some scrumptious strawberries! And my oh my, they were delicious!

I mainly, walked around took photos, filmed for my sister and of course was the driver,
so it was safe to say who was the main picker of them all.. I picked a couple here and there not to worry.

Okay, so we did end up buying some strawberries aswell! They tasted sooooo good with the Belgium Chocolate fudge ;)

Outfit of the day guys! I didn't realise, I was mostly wearing Forever New - they have amazing clothing that your wardrobe definitely needs!

Top: Forever New
Skort: Forever New
Scarf: Forever New
Boots: Op Shop

What did you get up to on Monday? Have you ever gone strawberry picking?

Such a powerful song

[ This song ]

This week I will trust in you more than ever.
Everything is going to be alright :)
I will call upon your name, keep my eyes above the waves when things get tough, when I am in need of guidance. I am yours and you are mine ~ Wherever you would call me.
My faith will be made stronger in the presence of my saviour.

So true and empowering -
Love some more.
You are uniquely you, you are loved and are special. Never forget how worthy you are!

I am reminded by His grace, His unconditional love & how much I matter to Him. ♥
#thankyouJesus

Empowering

Be you. ♥

Live a life you're proud of, be strong enough to say no to the things which bring you down and bring negativity into your Life. Live a life that empowers others and encourages others to be better and do better.

I am who I am, for a while now I've been hesitant with taking a step toward a better me but in saying that I am taking baby steps on where I can improve... Fitness, reading more, study more, eat healthier, earn more money and travel quiet alot. "Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't get discouraged. God, your God is with you every step you take."
I know at some stage I will take the metaphorical leap and just jump straight into the unknown but with God guiding me, who knows what will happen; it will all take time to unfold. For now, it's important to love and appreciate the person you are today, the body you're in today, the amazing people in your life supporting you.

Today I choose to be confident in who I am now and the amazing things that will follow ~
