Don't Take Things for Granted

Truth is, we all want what we can't have, right?

I don't know about you, but when I don't have something I want it, but when I have something I don't need it. Seems logical doesn't it... Besides that, now-a-days I see people, mostly younger kids, complain about how they want this, they didn't want that (food-wise) and I think to myself, just eat it! You're lucky enough to have a caring parent to feed you, to cloth you, to make sure you are healthy enough, so don't take things for granted!

There are days when I look around to all the tangible things I have; I don't need these, why did I buy that?, when will I wear this or that... It's things like this, reminds me that I sometimes throw away my money on things I don't need, instead of saving for something incredible; like a holiday, a house or a car.

I look at celebrities, I wonder who gives to the people, who are in need of things they can't afford, due to poverty. Not just take photos, who gives money, but actually lives with them for maybe a few days to actually feel what it's like to not, live in style.  Adults and children don't have sanitary water to drink, yet we live in a country where we can just turn on the tap to get water we need or go down to the shops to buy bottled water...

I guess what I'm trying to say, is to stay humble and give back... think of people who have it worse. Go to a hospital once in a while, make people's days by opening a door or giving a meal to a homeless person; it's the little things that make a huge difference to someones life.

Someone else is happy with less than what you have :)
